Ald Cyngric, a verdant region dominated by an overgrown forest, is the secluded dwelling of the Kamanuk and Onka tribes, who, existing in harmonious balance with nature, inhabit small, scattered villages within the lush, dense canopy, far from the trappings of more civilized areas. The province is populated by people distinct in their darker skin tone, as compared with the rest of the continent of Gnosit, serving as a living testament to the expansive reign of the Rainbow Chiefs (UT 1115 - 802) from far-off Qildab. Lacking significant urban centers and largely untamed, Ald Cyngric doesn't draw many travelers. The province's reputation as a cursed land, a belief held by their Elven neighbours, adds to its isolation. This superstition is rooted in Ald Cyngric being the former capital of Eddvar of Sakxa's empire, which infamously turned a deaf ear to the pleas of the Elves when their homeland, Dokeen, succumbed to rising sea levels. Floodthrone, as its name aptly suggests, is now an underwater ruin, a solemn monument to an empire that once was. This submerged city is an eerie testament to the past, its silent streets untouched and its drowned treasures yet to be uncovered. The risk of venturing into these watery depths has so far outweighed the promise of intriguing artifacts, leaving Floodthrone undisturbed and shrouded in mystery. Ald Cyngric, thus, remains a largely uncharted territory, its history and potential riches concealed by an overgrown forest and an ancient curse.
