Life in Bugh is based around the Dattland - a region of unusually lush terrain just south of the country’s capital, Dumacaber. It is inexplicable why the area is as nice as it is while the weather in all directions outside of it is loathsome, though not surprising why the Grir, a Bradocwil-speaking now-minority traditionally associated with the territory, first chose to make this divine pocket of grace their home. “Now-minority” as the Grir are these days being quickly displaced by Cerlinnu pioneers venturing from their homeland, literally in search of greener pastures. The Cerlinnu have set up shop and bulked up towns from Strushow to Snowberall, but while their civilizing influence could be beneficial their civility is questionable: they have not thought twice about kicking the Grir off their turf wherever they go, respecting their backwoods ways little – ironic because these Western frontiersmen are also of a gruff sort.
