Solumiral

Solumiral, an ancient fortress in Miricdal and headquarters of the tri-Traditional Council of Landezon, towers over the province of Draksineon as a symbol of unity, governance, and the resilience of magical society. Rising from the rugged mountains at Miricdal’s heart, Solumiral’s design reflects the architecture of each of the three Traditions, blending imposing stonework with carved reliefs, delicate spires, and austere chambers that serve the Berythian, Nurhetic, and Aurimbic councils. Built centuries ago during a time of great unrest, Solumiral originally functioned as a fortress against external threats; however, it was restructured to embody the peaceful coexistence of the Traditions after the Pact of Three. This reformation marked Solumiral as a place of governance, scholarship, and social balance, and since then, it has served as the central meeting point for Council decisions impacting the magical and mundane realms alike.  
  Solumiral is not merely a political seat but also a cultural and economic hub for Draksineon and beyond. Artisans, scholars, and emissaries from across the continent flock to Miricdal, finding patronage within the Council's various branches. As it houses archives of rare texts, magical artifacts, and extensive libraries, Solumiral draws knowledge-seekers who wish to study and understand the ways of magic, bringing in handsome tuitions. Additionally, the Council has established extensive trade agreements with neighboring regions, using revenues generated from the exchange of rare magical resources to support both local populations and diplomatic ventures. This economic vigor has rendered Solumiral a beacon of prosperity, fostering a bustling network of trade and cultural exchange that extends across Rela.   Yet, Solumiral remains a place of careful boundaries, governed by strict policies designed to preserve each Tradition’s purity. Diplomancers, Speakers, and members of The Quorum often meet here in spaces where magical fields are carefully controlled to prevent Thought Contagion and maintain security. Though publicly a monument to the unity of Traditions, Solumiral’s inner chambers reflect a more complex reality—one where Tradition, secrecy, and power intertwine, and where each decision made within its walls ripples outward, affecting the balance of the magical world.
