Eremel's Fey Wall

Eremel’s Fey Wall is the second longest wall on the mortal plane. It protects the city and its surrounding area from the dangers of the ever growing Fey Forest.
Long ago when Hazelia first came to the mortal plane with her elves, the Fey Forest was much smaller than it is today. In fact the forest is 10 times larger than it was originally. No one is quite sure what causes this expansion. But, some theories include:

• As Hazelia grows in power and matures, the fey energy within this area grows. Leading to the forest’s expansion.
• The way in which Hazelia came to this plane caused a permanent intermingling with the Fewilds and the mortal plane. This says that the Feywild’s energy is “leaking” into the mortal plane.
• That there is an entanglement between the Feywilds and the mortal plane caused by Hazelia. But this regions expansion is due to forces or individuals within the Feywilds that intend to attack the mortal plane

No matter how the Fey Forest’s expansion is caused it still is a very dangerous place. Many monsters and enraged wild beasts come out of the forest weekly. This wall is the only safeguard from monsters from coming into the city. Therefore, the Kingdom of Talevesh has given the wall a special allocation of military force.
To keep Eremel’s Fey Wall strong one of the six clans of Eremel is always controlling the wall. Currently it is under the control of the Diamara Clan. This clan has the responsibility of using the allocated military forces to keep monsters at bay from the city.
