Between Wilderness and Ruin Quests

Below are the current side quests and main quest lines that Between Wilderness and Ruin characters can pursue. These will update as games play out. Some quests may be time sensitive and others ongoing. Completing certain quests will open up additional ones. Its also possible that certain quest lines or game actions may eliminate open quests.   Location: This will list roughly where the active quest is taking place   Brief: This will give surface-level details about the quest and common knowledge the people of the area may have regarding it. More information can be found by investigating the quest in game   Reward: This will give some details as to what kind of rewards players may receive if they complete the quest. More detailed rewards will be listed if the quest is being rewarded by an active quest-giver. More vague reward details will be listed if no one sponsoring the quest. This should still hint at the value of the quest to the players without giving them exact knowledge their characters wouldn't have access to.   Advancement Points: All quests will list Advancement Points as a reward. Players can turn in 4 Advancement Points to gain one level. Main Quests completed will generally reward 4 points, while side quests will reward 1.

Missing Persons

Location: West of Tent Town   Brief: Geron Enes is the latest in a string of missing people in the area. Ridley's sheriffs pay little attention to what happens in Tent Town so the people there have to look out for each other, and right now, they've pooled their funds to try and buy a solution in the form of adventurers.   Rewards: 120 Aurins, Camp Supplies x10, one precious ring, 1 Advancement Point  

COMPLETE Big Mouth

Location: Along Ridley's Prospect coastline   Brief: The last week has seen two fisherman killed, snatched out of their boat by some kind of giant fish. A third was grabbed right off the dock in Tent Town. Lord Ridley himself has put out a bounty for the notorious Big Mouth   Reward: 80 Aurins, Chainmail Armor set, one Drift Globe, 1 Advancement Point  

The Ship Wreck that Shouldn't Be

  Location: Far northeast of the lake, in the middle of the forest   Brief: Rumors circulate about ship masts sticking out among the tree tops of the northeastern woods. Could there be a ship wreck in the middle of the forest? How?   Rewards: Unknown amount of Aurins, uncommon magic item x2, rare magic item, 1 Advancement Point  

Uncle Benji

Location: Eastern Woods, somewhere near the farms   Brief: Everyone knows to watch out in the eastern woods because Uncle Benji might find you and then, chop chop. This quiet, grizzled hermit stalks the region and is happy to brutalize anyone he crosses paths with. He's also a cattle and crop thief who plagues the farmland. Ridley would gladly pay to have the old man eliminated. Perhaps whatever Uncle Benji is carrying is worth more that reward on his life?   Reward: 60 Aurins, a balmoran steel blade from his collection, 1 rare magic weapon, 1 Advancement Point  

Wizard Business

  Location: East side of the lake, Caerethyanna's Tower   Brief: Eccentric elven wizard Caerethyanna Nerysandoral has lived in the region long before Ridley's Prospect and in that time she's been everything from a customer, to a guide, to a troublesome threat. Currently, she's living in a room near the harbor and claiming to have lost her tower   Reward: 200 Aurins, Magic Item shop becomes available to players visiting her tower, 1 Advancement Point  

COMPLETE Trouble at Tycorin Outpost

Location: Outpost on the main road to Ridley's Prospect   Brief: Ridley's garrison troops at the outpost are looking for an expert in hunting and trapping. A strange bird-headed bear has been savaging local shipments and they need help putting a stop to it quickly.   Rewards: 90 Aurins, Camp Supplies x6, a horse and simple wagon, 1 Advancement Point  

The Old Fort

Location: Northside of the lake   Brief: Very little is known about this location. It's a decaying old redoubt that many have tried to enter and salvage... and none have returned. It has an ominous reputation that keeps locals and fishermen far from its coast.   Reward: Aurins, precious stones, common magic items, 2 uncommon magic items, 2 rare magic items, 2 Advancement Point  

Main Quests

 

The Hideout (Ridley's Prospect Main Quest)

  Location: Somewhere northwest of Ridley's Prospect   Brief: Zelligar and Rogahn's secret hideout is somewhere here in the region, you have a key that supossedly can open the way and give you access to all they had stored away but you have to find it first before you can claim it as your own.   Updates: Thanks to your work at Caerethyanna's tower you're now aware of a rough area where the hideout can be found, somewhere just northwest of the Prospect. The notes also mention a human family's cottage in that region that predates the Prospect. They may know more. The notes also talk about a reckless project that Liesel Zelligar was working on... a monster zoo.   Rewards: Aurins, common magic items, 3 uncommon magic items, 2 rare magic items, 1 very rare magic item, 4 Advancement Points  

Tollin Expedition (Tollin Ruins Main Quest)

Location: New Region (Tollin Ruins)   Brief: The nearest of the gnomish great cities is Tollin. An expedition led by Colder Hackett is currently underway and always looking for new recruits. The final destination is the Tollin Ruins, 6 days into the Carda Woods.   Rewards: Beginning this quest opens up Tollin Ruins side quests. Completing the expedition (side quests) will reward 4 Advancement Points
