Personal history

Gelch Tilgast is the mine manager who used to “run things around here”. Always in competition with Dourstone, Tilgast was the first of the "new" mine managers to purchase mining rights after Gareth and his companions cleared the Bloodstone Mines of demons in 1359. His initial site was very lucrative, and Tilgast used that money to pretty much take over the town. His only competition, Ragnolin Dourstone, seemed uninterested in the village of Virdin , only exerting enough influence to keep everyone away from the Dourstone Mines.
Unfortunately, Tilgast's initial site is showing signs of being mined out. Little flows from the site now. Tilgast didn’t move fast enough to stop Chaum Gansworth from buying one of the new sites, which has proven very lucrative. Now Tilgast is trying to form an alliance against Gansworth to oust the upstart and claim his mining rights.
