Goodbarrel Manor
Greentallow Manor is a large building in the Burrows, a neighborhood of Bricktop.
Purpose / Function
Reed uses the manor as a home for him and his friends of Iluminus. He has also turned the cellar into a brewery and is training his assistant Cadreth to be his assistant brewer when he is away on adventures.
History
Once the home of Rolin Greentallow, a successful merchant in Heliogabalus, Greentallow Manor now sits empty. Rolin and his family were murdered in a plot to kill the midwife who could identify Theodorus of Carmathan as a pretender to the ducal seat.
Rolin and his family were killed and dismembered in the home. Their heads were sent to Ironspur in sealed casks for some unknown reason. Assassins from the Citadel of Assassins then took their places, vacating Greentallow Manor and moving to the Halfling Downs.
The assassins were discovered and defeated by the Magnificent Seven.
Lindel Greentallow, a book keeper out of Goliad, procured the deeds to Greentallow Manor and Greentallow Burrow in the Halfling Downs, but has no desire to live in the city. He is willing to rent or sell Greentallow Manor to the right people.
Reed Goodbarrel, one of the Magnificent Seven, placed a down-payment on the manor, and several members of the Seven moved into the manor when they stayed in Heliogabalus.
Reed has hired four hin to take care of the manor.
Bolfin Farrobar introduced himself as a proper and trained manservant. Bolofin is the majordomo, and runs the manorhouse.
Melyna Applebloom was hired as the cook as soon as Reed tasted her first meal, she treats the kitchen as her own private fiefdom.
Sevy Longstone is a young hin who also interviewed to become cook. Her skills in the kitchen are minimal, but she promised Reed other "special" services, and was hired. Bolofin and Melyna make Callie do odd jobs and cleaning when she's not with Reed.
The last hire that Reed made was Cadreth Reddown. Cadreth obviously idolizes Reed. Since moving in, Garth has styled his hair after Reed's, wears similar clothing, and is learning the brewer's trade to be more like his idol.
