Captain America

"Captain America" and "Steve Rogers" were created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby in 1941. Currently, the character of Captain America and Steve Rogers are owned by Marvel Comics, which in turn is owned by the Walt Disney Company. This depiction of Captain America is heavily inspired by - but deviates from - that original source material to be able to be used in the context of this particular setting.

Mental Trauma

Captain America did spend some time in Metropolis to be treated for amnesia after a particularly dramatic trauma suffered in dealing with a criminal threat to the area.

 

As a result, the Captain ( as Steve ) became very well acquainted with the Wyldfire team. Including pitching in on daily chores at the school once physically able and even saving several lives when the children enrolled in school at the Institute were in danger due to an unrelated criminal assault that almost firebombed the children's dormitory.
