Hayden Hillshadow is an older gnome hailing from Timberhome it is said that Hayden had a direct hand in the trade treaties between The Small Lands and the Alliance. It is said that on the day of the treaty signing Hayden packed his bags and traveled to the alliance to see what new wonders awaited him. He quickly found himself within the city of Lycia the place he would call home for the rest of his life. Hayden was an accomplished craftsman and combined what he already knew with the new methods and techniques of the Alliance he then founded the Hillshadow Company which has grown to be the largest crafting guild in Lycia. Hayden specializes in masonry and glass working but he is also known for his baking skills as he can be found making a fresh loaf of bread or batch of cookies every weekend morning in the guild. After being in the city for so long and teaching so many craftsmen it's only natural that many now look up to Hayden and it was this very feeling that had all the guildmembers nominate and vote for Hayden as Lycia's Chancellor they have done this for multiple terms and everyone has seemed happy with the Gnomes work in the city.
There's never a need to ask where Hayden is as he is always within the Hillshadow Company ready in his uniform to help any in need or hopefully to start a new fun project. Many in the city agree the reason so many happily join under Hayden and the guild is he will never give up on you he has this patience and way about him that makes him a great teacher to any who respect the craft.
