He took his daughter away from this for her own safety after her mother was killed. He took her to the only place he thought she would be accepted the Leicester Alliance she was always obsessed with the lake from the moment they made it to Lycia. As this attachment grew she in the end opened up Bastions Bait / The Waves and try's to bring others as much joy as the lake has brought her.
