Rune King Brynn Frostbeard

Brynn didn't seem to be one destined for greatness and surely never seemed like a candidate for Rune King, he wasn't a grizzled veteran of many battles or a once-in-a-lifetime forging prodigy, instead he was always known as a jovial dwarf with a booming laugh and a love for fine ale and hearty meals. A true friend to all always willing to go the extra mile for even a total stranger these kind intentions seem to rub off on those around Brynn and it was over a long lifetime of being a friend to all that raised him to become Chieftain of the Second House a feat greater than he ever believed he would accomplish. As a chieftain, Brynn made it his duty to help all houses and grew connections all throughout Stonespine, it was thanks to his very connections that the messages of the sorrows were able to spread across the houses so quickly allowing for many lives to be saved. When the war hit its climax the past Rune King and most of the Chieftains stayed back with their guards to defend against the oncoming threat during this time Brynn led many to safety working with Queen Kelda Crystalaxe, the Stone Singer and Eldaric Tunneldweller to back and forth for over a full day straight not stopping until all civilians where safe. Then after word of the previous Rune Kings Slaying Brynn led a force to retrieve the King's body, while the attack failed Brynn swore that he would put his friend's body to rest in the Hall of Heroes where it belongs if it's the last thing he does. With all of these accomplishments, it was an easy choice for the dwarves of Stonespine when it came to choosing the next Rune King.
