Rumple

Description

Rumple is an orange Urban Grimalkin standing 3 feet tall, weighing nearly 40 pounds. Despite his small stature, he is exceptionally strong, evident by his ability to wear heavy plate armor, which he keeps well maintained, though plenty of scratches and dents are visible from years of combat experience. Rumple speaks with confidence, though his voice is high pitched and often deters others from taking him seriously.

Personality

Rumple is confident and inspiring, his small stature has made him tough to harsh words. Rarely showing anything but confidence and bravado, It is Rumple's personal belief that no challenge is impossible, no task too daunting. His confidence and dedicaiton to his craft as a loyal soldier of The Boros Legion has garnered him respect amongst many guilds, including the Boros Legion itself. In his time in the Legion, his positive attitude and outlook on most situations has led his advice to become highly regarded amongst the special forces community in the Boros Legion, and he is often seen conversing with Aurelia and Tajic.

Relationships

Rumple has a close relationship with the guildmaster of the Boros Legion, Aurelia. Often, Aurelia's absolute rulings are held in check by Rumple's more understanding and compassionate nature. He has also gained the respect of Tajic, the Blade of the Legion and commanding officer of the Skyjek, after saving his life during The Day of Shadows.

History

Born into the city of Ravnica, Rumple spent most of his life trying to prove he was more than his small stature and adorable features. Never taken as a threat, and often as a joke, Rumple grew to ignore the pestering words of others and devoted himself to the betterment of himself and the community around him. Despite being belittled throughout his youth, Rumple would eventually sign up to join the Boros Legion as a Legionnaire, wishing to uphold the law and keep the peace in the city that had mocked him in his youth.
Proving an excellent fighter and tactician, Rumple grew to gain the respect of his squad leaders, and he was reccommended to attend the Academy to become a Skynight Legionnaire. It was during this time that the Day of Shadows occurred, and Tajic's predecessor, Agrus Kos, was killed in a riot outside of The Azorius Senate. With his battlefield promotion, Tajic took to the streets to quell the riot, when he was quickly enveloped by rioters, and separated from his unit. Rumple, on the back of his griffon, swooped in and rescued Tajic, returning him to a command center so he could have a greater influence on the riot outcome. With the riot quelled, Tajic appointed Rumple to the Skyjek, the special forces division of the Boros Legion and granted him the rank of commander. It is in this position that Rumple still passionately serves the Legion, and the city of Ravnica.
