Steadfast Jak

Steadfast Jak lived in Pondhome. With his aid, Kapital proved themselves worthy to the Court of the King Crab and were allowed into its palace.
Unfortunately, Jak never saw the culmination of Kapital's hunt for the King Crab; he was mercilessly killed and eaten by the black dragon Asterax.

Description

Easily standing a head taller than other grippoli, Jak had an imposing frame that masked his flighty mannerisms. He always carried his trusty broom with him, sometimes used as a weapon, most of the time used for cleaning.

Personality

Seen as a neat freak by the other villagers, Jak compulsively cleaned up any messes he came across, often using his echoes to expedite the process.

Powers

Jak had studied the mysterious art of "Echo Knights," bending space so that he could strike from two or three places at once.

Relationships

He was Milo's brother, and the two of them loved each other very much.

History

When Kapital set out to hunt the legendary King Crab, the Pondmother introduced them to Julio and the brothers Jak and Milo, all of whom had volunteered to help in their quest.
While following the Eye of the King to his regent's palace, the party veered off the path and stumbled into the lair of the hateful black dragon of the Brackwater Swamp. Before the party could escape, she spat acid onto Jak and devoured him.
Later, before his death, Milo made Azrael swear to kill the dragon and seek justice for his fallen brother.
