The Beacon is the leader of the Candle Colony, appointed by the Divine Matriarch herself.

Description

The Beacon is a slight elven woman wearing flowing hooded robes.

Personality

Despite her important station, she is surprisingly down-to-earth and speaks very casually. Opposed to the oft-punitive fervor of some of her Flamekeepers, the Beacon cares more for reaching understanding and simple acts of goodness.

Abilities

Renowned for her miraculous power to heal delerium contamination, the Beacon was elevated from Flamekeeper to her current position. The slow process of healing is performed in a secluded room of the Lighthouse. Also, she offers this service to all in Redgaard, regardless of factional affiliation, in exchange for a hefty donation to the church.

Relationships

The Candle Colony

She is so revered by the Flamekeepers that they do not allow themselves to meet her eyes, unless she speaks to them first. She didn't seem to mind when Kapital broke this mandate, albeit unknowingly, when first meeting her.

The Silver Order

She greatly appreciates the Silver Order, especially the Knight-Captain Theodore Marshall, saying that "[he] is [the Candle Colony's] greatest chance at working with the other factions."

History

Having distinguished herself as a Flamekeeper with the faith to cure Cataclysmic darkness, she was chosen, by the leader of the Church of the Sacred Flame, to lead a settlement mission into Redgaard as the Beacon.
After Kapital stood trial in Camp Dawn, they encountered the Beacon, who had entirely missed the inquisition and was still walking to the cathedral. Without revealing her identity, she blessed the group's weapons to aid in a quest suggested to them by the Knight-Captain.
