The Verdant Kingdom of Dolasea

Green as far as the eye can see is frequently uttered by travelers visiting the Verdant Kingdom of Dolasea. Two great forests make up the outer borders of this domain, partially isolating it from the outside world. These woods have been able to sustain a large population in what can be considered a medium sized domain. Towns and small villages can be found among the trees, while the capital of Beybluff has cleared a large chunk of the forest and now finds itself surrounded by rolling fields of hardy grains. The heavy mists and near constant dampness provide plenty of hydration to the land, while being a trial the settled people must overcome.
The people of Dolasea say they have sap in their veins, and have a close bond with nature. Due to the domains close proximity to the land of the Elves, there are a large number of Elves, Half-Elves, and Humans with partial Elvin ancestry living here. These people enjoy a relatively safe and carefree existence, as the sprawling forests create a strong natural defence. Capital City:
Dolasea's capital is located in the province of Simi, which forms a cape that extends into the north eastern sea. The city, Beybluff, sits beneath a large rocky outcropping that has weathered over time into an arch that spans the surrounding lowlands. The rock "ceiling" causes the days to feel shorter in the city as the sun becomes obscured towards it's zenith, with some areas never receiving true sunlight. The near constant gloom brought on by the lack of sun and ever present drizzle of rain may affect some negatively, but the residents of Beybluff consider it the usual. The rich land surrounding the capital has allowed an ever growing number of people congregate, leading to a population some where around 12,000 within the city. Many elves, half elves, and humans of Burga descent call this city their home, and make up the majority of the demographics of people who live in Dolasea. The buildings of the city feature an iconic architectural design, their red stone walls with mossy green onion domed roofs are like no other city on the continent. Trade Goods: Timber is the main resource of Dolasea. The vast forests that fill the domain allow for a rich harvest of various types of lumber. This wood is used for various hand crafts, furniture, perfumes and agricultural purposes. In recent years, the main importer of Dolasean timber has been the Elven kingdom of Tironde. Their waning and unhealthy forests have become unsustainable, so they looked beyond their borders to import from Dolasea.
