Sunriver Under Sky Castle
This enormous castle sits on a promontory overlooking the great river that runs through the Kingdom of Crossing Sun and Stars, the largest Tabaxi kingdom in Ventenheim. It is part castle and part fortress, large angular walls close it off from the city nearby and it's elevated position makes it difficult to attack. It is the seat of power for the ruling clan of the tabaxi, currently Queen Mellorah of the Clawberry clan.
Purpose / Function
The castle has always served as the seat of power for the current ruling clan of the tabaxi people in the Kingdom of Crossing Sun and Stars.

Architecture
The Great Hall - Two grand staircases make their way up to the second and third floors. These floors are reserved for the queen's chambers and offices. Very few people are allowed in these spaces. A finely polished and varnished wood makes up the railings, the stairs themselves a warm tan looking stone with rich red carpeting falling down them. The hall is almost 40ft in height and is carved from the same warm looking stone as the castle. Many intricate tapestries fall down from the rafters in bright colors each being around 3 ft. in width and over 10 ft long.
Bed Chambers
Guest Parlor- Eventually he leads you into a large chamber with a domed ceiling painted with nature scenes and various animals etched in gold and silver foil leaf. On the eastern wall recessed into the floor is a small pool of warm water with small runes etched into the sides. These runes provide temperature controls and bubble jets. In the center of the room is a recessed seating area with circular cushioned couches. Multiple brightly colored pillows are arranged in a pleasing pattern throughout. On the table in the middle is a hookah like smoking device that accomodates many different dried leaves of the users choosing. A wet bar stands on the southern side dimly lit with pleasing orange and yellow lights.
Open Air Courtyard - In the center of the castle is a large open air courtyard filled with exotic trees a few of which are always flowering. A large decorative wall stands in the center. It is magically enchanted to show the history of the kingdom in small flat scenes made of glassy looking stones which combine to make figures and buildings. Every few hours the scene resets and it begins again with the tabaxi clans triumphing in this area of the continent.
Spiral Staircases - At several points on the outer walls spiral staircases are carved in the stone. They stand 6 ft wide and curve upward mostly used by the castle staff.
Solar Room - The hexagonal room on the south side of the building is tall room with a glass ceiling which allows sunlight in. The rays filter through several pieces of stained glass to create an array of colors on the floor. The room has many soft couches to lounge in and a low table to eat meals at or drink tea.
Bathrooms, Lavatories - Small chambers are dotted around the building each fit with enchanted cisterns and low seats to allow for relieving oneself. The rooms are well lit with magical sunlight to be comfortable and warm.
Kitchens, Pantries, Larders & Butteries - On the east side underneath the Queen's chambers are several kitchens and pantries which are run by the head chef and staff. These are all well stocked and well ordered. The floors are made of an intricate pattern of tile which forms cat's eyes shapes and curved barbs.
Gatehouses and Guardrooms - The large gate faces east and is monitored by several of the Queen's elite guard at all times.
Temple to Makalua'a - A sister temple to the one in the city it is also uncommonly green with vegetation. Magical sunlight is emitted from several globes that hover around the large room. It is the large southern room on the map to the right of the Solar. Many beautiful vines sprout pink and magenta flowers as they climb around the walls. Small budgies and parakeets flit around the room and land on the small trees. Their are purplewood trees which sprout from the floor and come down from the ceiling. Brightly colored beetles walk around the tree trunks and the windows.
Cabinets and Boudoirs- Many of the smaller chambers on the map are cabinets and closets which hold all manner of linen, older tapestries and cleaning tools.
Storerooms, Undercrofts & Cellars - The two spiral staircases on the north side of the building actually go down allowing access to several cellars. Huge rooms with arched ceilings and intricate brick work hold all manner of supplies for the castle. One room is devoted to a huge rack of wines and different liquors. Another room has stores of pickled vegetables, eggs, and meats. Another room is magically cooled for meat storage and the last is a vegetable storage room.
Ice Houses -Amongst the cellar are three ice houses, two of which just create large slabs of ice with water fed in through aqueducts from the river. Magical runes and devices freeze the water after it enters and is used for drinks and dinner.
Apartments - Most of the basic bedrooms are square stone rooms with wooden flooring covered with wide rugs made of animal hides. The fur from these beasts is incredibly soft. The wide circular beds are strewn with different sized circular pillows. The beds sit in the center of the rooms. Most of the apartments are named after animals. The cheetah room, the Leopard room, the Panther room and so on.
Dovecotes and Falconry - On the upper level of the west side of the structure are two octagonal structures housing pigeons and falcons.
