Primordial Gods

The Primordial Gods of Tanaria are the ancient, foundational deities who represent the raw energies and elements of the world. These beings predate the Supreme Gods and are the fundamental forces that shaped the universe. Their interactions and progeny gave rise to the creation and balance of Tanaria. Though not actively worshipped, their influence and presence are deeply rooted in the world’s mythos.   Together, these Primordial Gods laid the groundwork for the world of Tanaria. History

In the beginning, there was only Vevos, the embodiment of Chaos. From the infinite potential and turmoil of Vevos, the universe was born. Out of this primordial chaos emerged the first beings, the Primordial Gods, each representing fundamental forces and elements of the world. Vevos gave birth to Zemia, the Earth, who formed the solid foundation of Tanaria. Zemia's body became the land, providing stability and life-giving soil. Her strength and nurturing presence allowed life to take root and flourish.   From the depths of Zemia came Umboros, the Underworld. He ruled the realm of the dead, a shadowy and secretive domain beneath the earth. Umboros guarded the secrets of life and death, ensuring the balance between the living and the dead.   Erotas, the embodiment of Love, emerged next. From the union of Zemia and Umboros, Erotas spread love and passion throughout the world, driving creation and unity. Love bound the elements and beings together, fostering harmony and growth.   Oscurta, the primordial Darkness, and Nixia, the Night, were born from the void left by Chaos. Oscurta brought mystery and fear, representing the unknown, while Nixia ruled over the night, bringing dreams and rest. Together, they introduced the cycle of day and night, a rhythm that governed the lives of all creatures.   To counter the darkness, Aetherion, the embodiment of Light and Sky, emerged. Aetherion spanned the horizon with wings of light, controlling the weather and the breath of life. His presence brought clarity and illumination, dispelling the darkness and guiding the way.   With the advent of light, Luminara, the Day, was born. Luminara's radiant light brought clarity and warmth, marking the passage of time and providing a beacon for all life. She adorned the world with her brilliant glow, ensuring that light always followed darkness.   Terranis, the Mountains, arose from Zemia, shaping the land with towering peaks and valleys. His strength and endurance created the natural fortresses of the world, providing shelter and stability to the creatures of Tanaria.   Finally, Itatso, the Sea, flowed forth from the union of Zemia and Aetherion. Itatso's nurturing waters sustained life, filling the world with oceans, rivers, and lakes. She represented the depth and fluidity of water, essential for all living beings.   These Primordial Gods, each embodying a fundamental aspect of the world, collaborated to create Tanaria. They shaped the land, the seas, the sky, and the cycles of day and night. Their harmonious efforts brought balance and order to the once chaotic universe, giving rise to a world teeming with life and potential.   Together, they formed the foundation of Tanaria, setting the stage for the emergence of the Supreme Gods and Lesser Deities who would further shape the world and its inhabitants. The Primordial Gods, though not actively worshipped, remain the eternal forces that govern the natural order, their influence felt in every corner of the world.
