Cirravan Taur
Cirravan Taur was a pre-emporian ruler of the Thessian Empire, and the last King of Ghazalbad, the empire's capital city.
He was the uncle of the 1st Emperor of the empire, Gallatan Taur.
Cirravan was the son of King Narab Taur and Queen Ahjazah Amedes, born Evinaset 26, 3417 A.E.
His father died in 3436, when Cirravan was 19 years old. His mother ruled for the next 3 years, until Cirravan took the throne himself in 3439, at the age of 22.
He married Ettamma Mirn in 3439, shortly after he ascended the throne as king. Their son Prince Evahn Taur was born in 3441. However, he tragically died of disease in 3446, at the age of 5. The young prince's death devastated Cirravan. Ettamma died in childbirth the next year, along with a stillborn daughter, in 3447.
Cirravan was distraught, in mourning for a year. However, he was pushed to re-marry in order to secure the succession. He married his 2nd wife, Kaya Adara, in 3448.
The king and Ettamma had shared a businesslike, cordial relationship, and though Cirravan had cared for her, they were never close. Cirravan expected much the same from his 2nd wife - but was surprised to find himself falling deeply in love with her. The couple shared a trusting, passionate relationship, and Queen Kaya became a powerful and politically involved figure at court.
Their daughter Taraia Taur was born in 3449. Their son, crown prince Talan Taur, was born in 3451, and another son, Amidahl Taur, was born in 3453. Gallatan Taur, Cirravan's nephew, was also born in 3453.
