Kaya Adara
Kaya Adara was was a pre-emporian queen of the Thessian Empire, Queen of Ghazalbad as the 2nd wife of Cirravan Taur.
Kaya was born in Bachmat on Nirset 12, 3428 A.E., the daughter of a famous Bachmati general. Her mother was also a notable female scholar.
She was sent to Ghazalbad and married to King Cirravan in 3448, at the age of 20. The year before, the king had lost his 1st wife, Ettamma Mirn, along with their infant daughter, only a year after the death of their 5 year old son. The city, as well as the king himself, was in mourning, and Kaya's arrival to the city became a symbol of hope and new beginnings to the people and the court.
Kaya proved to be quite different from her deceased predecessor, who had been pretty, meek, and quiet. Kaya was not especially beautiful (to the disappointment of the public), and was educated, outspoken, and determined. While King Cirravan had had a cool, cordial relationship with his 1st wife, the marriage to Kaya was completely different. The couple had a passionate, very trusting relationship, and Kaya became a powerful figure at court, involved in political councils and decisions.
Kaya and Cirravan had 3 children: a daughter, Taraia Taur, was born in 3449. Their son Talan Taur was born in 3451, and another son, Amidahl Taur, was born in 3453.
At court, Kaya also became the close friend of Erima Khatan, the wife of her husband's brother, also from Bachmat and only a year apart in age.
