Aven
Aven are a race of humanoids with human like bodies, arms, and legs, along with birdlike wings and heads. They are a non-native race to Tarana, and have come from many other worlds outside of Tarana's native cosmology, due to the worlds role as an omniversal nexus.
Four kinds of Aven can be found in Tarana: Ibis headed, eagle headed, hawk headed, and owl headed.

Most aven lean towards some form of neutrality. Ibis- and owl-headed aven, focused more on knowledge than any other virtue, are usually neutral. Hawk- and Eagle-headed Aven are inclined toward lawful neutral

Hawk-Headed Aven
Hawk-headed Aven focus on the techniques of long ranged combat. Most prefer javelins, but some are skilled with bows, spears, and throwing axes. These Aven have made their homes in the regions of Xingan and Tarnea in Wujan, the Jenashi Plateau in Makhet, Kepheros, Persedonia and Marathon in Hesios.

Owl-Headed Aven
Owl-Headed Aven are notoriously solitary, often preferring a life of quiet contemplation and reflection. Their homes are ivory towers that serve as both schools and nurseries to the young. These Aven make their homes in the regions of Thorkel and Shava in Tarjin; Wlamyr, Kyran, Alsa, Orwyn, and Ysara in Gaelynn; Argola, Atteros, and Avanni in Hesios.

Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. Innate Magical Ability. You know the spells Feather Fall, Fog Cloud, and Jump. You may cast one of these spells as a first level spell without expending a spell slot once per long rest.

Eagle-Headed Aven
Eagle-headed Aven tend to enter adulthood with a deep rooted sense of loyalty and devotion. However, they don't blindly offer such, only showing such to those nations and peoples who they find deserving. These Aven make their homes in western Gaelynn, southern Serau, and northwestern Hesios.
