Solarian
" Crafted for her predecessor, though the work took far longer, so we held onto the gift, waiting for the right one to ascend ta the throne. Well she has, so my Empress it be our distinct honor to present to you Solarian, the Blade of Sunfire." A true claymore, a meter and three quarters in length, a full meter and a half of that blade. The grip almost a third of a meter, wrapped beautifully in sealskin and two layers of orange fabric. The pommel was of steel, with proper and flawless gilding, to look as if the sun. The cross-guard strong, etched steel with symbols honoring Vosana and Sir Kartheart. The blade was a vicious thing, the fuller running a full two thirds of a meter, on both sides, to balance the weapon. Razor sharp, so much so that even unwrapping it carefully, the Dawi doing so managed to nick himself. The tip, a simple spade like design, but at a tight enough angle to still allow efficiency on the thrust, whilst maintaining enough commitment to also punch through many a set of armor, all but the best of plate. The silver blade was etched with Runes in Dwarvhbe, though she could understand them. 'Doitiean's gift to this blade, the edge may never dull, the point nay bend or break. Shine the Light of the realms into the darkest places and let the burning heat of the sun's lifeblood cleanse the blackness." She could feel the magick in those carvings, in the weapon as a whole. She muttered a brief prayer to Sir Kartheart and another to Vosana.
"It is a gift most beautiful, Morgrym Ironcliffe, and when you return home, I would have you pass proper thanks to your kin for this beautiful and priceless gift." She replied. "However I know not yet the words, and so politely request a month to pray on it, so I may insure I express my gratitude properly as such an amazing gift deserves. I only pray that I may prove worthy of the offering in the months and years to come."
