Titanvolley

Titanvolley is a sport played throughout the Continent of Tariel. In it, ten players compete to throw a ball into a hoop placed at either side of the field to score points for their team. The five players per team, the attack, defense, and guardian, work together to try to score the most points.

Positions:

Attack: These two players can enter the other team's side to try to score points per round.
Defense: These two players can defend their side or enter the other team's side but only if the two attack players are already on that side.
Guardian: This player stays in front of the hoop to aid the defense when the opposing team comes to attack.

Rules:

The few rules in Titanvolley include the rule that the ball must not touch the ground. If the ball is dropped, play stops and the team who was last holding the ball is penalized. Therefore, most of the play in the game involves players throwing the ball to each other.

Victory:

The game is played over three 30-minute intervals, with a 10-minute break between each interval. The winner is determined at the end of the third interval by whichever team has scored the most points at the end of the time period.

Titanvolley in Tariel Culture:

Titanvolley games are held across each country on a seasonal basis and are organized by the International Titanvolley Association.
Every four years, Trialists play Titanvolley in The Trials.
