Continent of Tariel
Humans control the majority of the continent, with a large country named Lunaire in the center and northern coast. Small elvish, dragonborn, dwarven and orcish countries border the edges. Twenty-five years ago, The Civil War changed the continent forever. The leaders of the five countries, known as The Circle meet regularly to keep the peace.

History
Tariel was first inhabited by the Lemarin people after their goddess Chalchiuhtlicue is said to have carried them across the seas from Faerun.
After the Sacred Portal was opened, many more races, including elves, dwarves, orcs, dragonborn, halflings, and even more humans, came through and established their own communities.
The Civil War changed Tariel into what it is known as to this day. Its lasting effects caused the countries of Lunaire, Srendell, Bhurbrog, Mirngolir and Klastar to form.
Tourism
Tariel is open to visitors who can enter via the Sacred Portal by convincing its guardian Charon. All races that currently exist on the continent arrived from there at one point. One of its more notable travelers introduced the The Calendar of Tariel to its people, which is still used today.
