Desert Ainok

The Ainok found wandering the sands of the Shifting Wastes are a canine race that resemble jackals. They once roamed the shifting wastes and were renowned masters of survival and camouflage. In contrast to their mountain dwelling cousins, the Ainok of the desert have shorter hair and longer ears. Their fur goes from light yellow to dark brown.    As the desert's original inhabitants, it was the ainok who taught the first Abzan how to survive the harsh wilderness of the Shifting Wastes. Allowing the Abzan to live and prosper.   They have a near perfect sense of direction and cannot be lost even among the changing dunes. They were the master of the magic art known as Sandcrafting, and taught it to their human brothers and sisters.
