Three Hammer's War

"I lost hope many times. But it was only my faith in the goodness of my people that kept me going." - For'ghen, Old King Under the Mountain

Spanning hundreds of cycles, this old war encompasses many of the battles circle around the continent of Falvona in the Western Earthlands all the way to the Black Mountains involving heavily the Ghe'tani and their leaders at the time against the great evil wizard Lok'vash. Aided by Sein Da, or known as Spiritwalker at the time, these wars spawned a great many champions such as For'ghen, Ghaeden, and Sh'aela the three champions of the Ghe'tani to take up the Three Hammers. A rumored fourth existed for a time, but the history books differ upon the tales.

The Conflict

Prelude

The war began with the sacking of Big Mountain. A place the Ghe'tani called home for some time where a large swath of demons and other dark creatures following Lok'vash tore through the defenses and left the people to fend for themselves without a true home.

Deployment

Marching, moving, and constantly fighting, the Ghe'tani forces here went through generations of only knowing war and death with little time for peace. Their already hardened exteriors became even tougher for some, and drove some both to greatness, and failure.

Battlefield

Ranging from the far western lands of Falvona to the sheer opposite side of the continent thousands of miles away in the Black Mountains, this conflict saw no shortage of blood drawn on both sides of good or evil.

Conditions

With magic being an unknown force at the time. Normal soldiers garbed in heavy armor and weapons found themselves heavily outmatched by otherworldly creatures and a leader with the power to disintegrate entire groups of soldiers.

The Engagement

The engagements were never clean on any battlefield. Whether the forces of good and light prevailed or not, much blood was spilled, as many on the darker side of the forces found themselves controlled or manipulated while fighting along side such dark and deathly demonic creatures.

Outcome

With Lok'vash defeated, the armies of blackness had been tarnished and destroyed in Falvona bringing peace to the war torn land for some time. Many of the Ghe'tani returned home, while others posted along with the aid of the other Kla'tani in the area a long chain of defenses, councils, and other warning systems of the victories.

Aftermath

With Sein Da revealing to the world magic as a palpable force in one of the main battles, magic was indeed brought into the world through this war. With the coming ages of growth of power, creeping abilities, simple wars of sword and shield against monstrous demons would be a thing of the past in the coming eras.

Historical Significance

The history of this war is told to many the world over, especially in Ghe'tani culture as a great victory and triumph of their people. Some marks can even be found today whether culturally or just upon the land through corruption or battle sites.

Legacy

The legacy of the Three Hammer's War marks a turning point for the world. Showing that through no matter how heavy and powerful the darkness takes hold, even when it seems to have won, that the forces of light can persist and find victory. Sometimes it just needs the right push.

In Literature

The Three Hammer's War is detailed in many books across Te'za. Ranging from historical depictions to fantasy literature and novels written upon such events that often dramatize many things, but make good reads nonetheless.

Technological Advancement

The technology here was simply the Ghe'tani people's love for crafting of armor and weapons. Their ability to create such objects and even reforge one of the ancient hammers of the draconic empires back to use showed their skill, drive, and tact to win the war. There was no magic to aid them, only the enemy had very limited uses of such, otherwise their forces were demonic creatures armed with their abilities alone.
