Wid'ji'go
"Don't go into the woods tonight, I can hear them calling." - Frightened Farmer in Falvona
Otherwise known as Wendigo in the common tongue or other translations, is known as a creature of hunger and madness. Drawn from the world in such violence in chaos as the word brings through that ever gnawing sense of hunger to keep oneself alive, these creatures are an amalgamation of this. Drawn not from any demonic entity, but from the darkness of the spirit world and the rawness of nature, souls lost and drawn to cannibalism or madness and destruction of their natural world are turned into these horrific creatures. Known to be wild and chaotic, some of these beasts are often times used in conjunction and created by witches or other dark purveyors of magic to hold their territories from do-gooders. Either way, a truly terrifying creature with the ability to mimic voices, while also devour creatures and rend them entirely and quickly.
