Ershen

Summary

Ershen is the public train used in technopolis, it uses magnetic levitation technology to hover above the tracks, along with it's eletromagnetic propulsion and aerodynamic design it's able to reach incredible speeds of 500 km per hour, while still having first class comfort for it's passengers and completely automated services

Structure

The chassis and suspension systems are made from high strength steel to endure the high speeds Ershen traverses.
The body and structural components are made from alluminum alloy due to it being a strong yet light metal compared to it's alternatives.
Fiberglass and complementary materials are used for interior components, such as cabin walls, and decorative elements to keep it aesthetically pleasing.
It uses high strength glass for it's windows
It uses plastics and polymers for various interior and exterior components, including interior panels, handrails, and other non-structural elements.
Rubber components, insulation materials, and seals are used to dampen vibrations and provide noise insulation for the best passenger experience
The width of the train is 3,5 meters

Power Generation

the train withdraws energy through side receptors everytime it docks to receive passengers keeping enough energy for 3 hours everytime it stops, in case of emergency it has generators on it's front and back that are automatically activated in case it fails to receive energy for 5 seconds

Propulsion

Ershen accelerates everytime it goes by an eletromagnetic coil located on it's track, so the propulsion mechanism is external and independent of the train itself, there are at least 20 meters from one coil to the other

Sensors

Electric railway sensors (everytime it passes through an magnetic coil Ershen sends an electric signal to the 6th next electric coil and waits for it to return, if the signal doesn't return Ershen will immediatelly activate it's brakes)
Smoke detectors
Infrared railway sensors (the railways has infrared sensors to detect any movement on top of it's rails, upon identifying an object that could derail the train, or any living creature in danger of being run over it will immediately activate Ershen's brakes)
