This realm serves as the gateway to Aeternus, where the gods inspect the lives and choices of mortal souls before sending them where they best see fit. Devout followers of religion hope that their god(s) may look upon them with appreciation for their deeds and send them to a more desirable afterlife.  However, darker deities may also vie for their souls. Viridem, the god of justice, presides over the court, and he is nothing if not fair. Mortals beware of their actions and words, lest they find themselves dragged to the planes of Lower Aeternus when the gavel falls.
