Church of Carnival
This religion praises Carnival as the sole deity that looks after the poor, the mad, and the Yadan(Tiefling) people. Worshippers tend to revel in the Dance of the Jester. This Dance encompasses a song that embraces the state for which its followers live in poverty and decay. They believed that society around them will not accept who they are and wish for days of acceptance and an end to their genocide. This was contradicted by the advent of the Pantheon of the Black Star in the world of Tenebra. The song in modern times remains largely the same save for the references to the genocide and unnacceptance of [Yadan, who have largely been accepted in the world.
Mythology & Lore
The worship of the King of Clowns is first and foremost in the religion, but they remember that Carnival is also Captiel and remember to be temperate and watchful of time as at any moment a pogrom can occur.
Divine Origins
This religion first propped up when the Yadan began wondering the Tenebra in search of a home call their own.
Cosmological Views
The worshippers of Carnival know that the world was created following a battle between forces of light and dark, but know that the gods who were present then are nearly all gone. They know to worship a god of a new age is the only god who will look after them. They also recognize the power of the other gods of the Pantheon of the Black Star that restored the Mother of Creation and their sacrifice, but revere Carnival above all else due to how Carnival played a part in both the Pantheon and the Mother's plans.
