Pantheon of the Black Star
This pantheon began in 1262 as the Circle of the Black Star under the collective direction of Desynthe Rubyleaf, John Webber, Mason Black, Vincent Clos, Amaya Hayashi, and Mina Heltz. However, all would change with the revelation of the party’s friend, Mary, being Adrammelech:. John Webber would betray the Circle as he descended into the archon, Purson, out of love and concern over his niece, Mary. The Circle would be in dire straights at this occurrence, but they continued on their journey thanks to the direction of each other’s adoration. They would strive onward on their journey to rebel against the tyranny of Empyrea and Sheol, and the Circle would eventually add new companions to their group, Kautil and Jozef Butcher. After months passed, the Circle would ascend to demi-godhood and then to godhood thanks to the guidance and aid of Captiel/Carnival, Cernudens, and Fricco (or Freyr to many Aenir descendants).
After the decimation of Yaldaboath , the Circle would add their allied gods to their Circle along with their fellow nascent gods. Koschei and Marya would join out of necessity to be monitored in case magic overtly encompassed their beings. Kenzou-Omikami would participate out of gratitude to the Circle for pushing him to great lengths of himself. Finally, as the Circle fully revitalized Asherah, she joined the Circle as it became the Pantheon of the Black Star. This Pantheon is the focus of worship of the Church of the Blackstar, and the church’s symbol is the same as the Pantheon’s. The Church seeks to continue the lessons the gods of the Pantheon provided to others.
