Lord
Aaland Edgarr is the Lord of the Rock and the head of
House Edgarr of God's Hand. He is married to
Elara Eriksdottir, the granddaughter or Lord
Frode the Stranger, and they have one son of two years.
Appearance and Character
Aaland is skinny, with short redecing brown hair, and a trimmed chinstrap beard. He has laughing hazel eyes, and he often smiles and makes jests at the expense of other lords. His favourite targets are Lord
Harald Happyng, who he calls Lord Whale, and Lord Berren Justman, who has a son with feeble bones. He is good friends with Lord
Frode, seeing him as a father,
Aaland enjoys flaunting his wealth, wearing fine velvet and silk doublets and gowns. He has a fur hat made out of white fox fur, and he wears either a bearskin cloak or a purple silk cape with the inside coloured gold. He wears a ring on each finger, and has a necklace that carries a large golden sun that hangs below his chest. He does not need it, but walks with a black wood cane with a golden pommel. He almost always has a glass of fine wine by his side, which he drinks out of a large golden chalice inlaid with jewels. He has a large white mastiff with a golden chain for a colllar, and has a wide array of horses. When he doesn't walk he is carried in a golden palanquin, and his carriage is described as a "cube of gold" which is pulled by eight white horses.
Aaland is not well liked by many. -
