Captain
Lyonel Allen is the captain of the castle guard for the Palace-by-the-Sea. He has three sons, Arthur, Edward, and . He was a rival of
Richard Horpe. He is also the
master-at-arms for the royal palace, training the guards, knights, and children of the palace.
Appearance and Character
Lyonel is a tall aged half elf. He has short grey hair and a long wrinkled face with a sharp chin. His armour is made out of a fine silvered steel and he carries a mace for his weapon. When not wearing his armour, the knight is found in fashionable doublets and jackets. For his own sigil, he uses the head of a lion.
Lyonel is a cordial and friendly man. He spends a great deal of time around court, making jests and socializing. He also enjoys drinking and playing games with his fellow soldiers. Despite being outgoing and lively, Lyonel is also serious and diligent about his station and duties. His enemies consider him ambitious and ingratiating. He is a formidable warrior, and has a good mind for warfare.
History
Lyonel Allen was the only child of Ser Theodore Allen. He was raised within the Palace-by-the-Sea and became a palace guard when he came of age.
