Enhanced

Enhancement is a condition that can occur through numerous means to any of the Mortal Species.
Enhancement involves welding the mortal's soul to a fragment of Andromeda's power. It is usually offered at a cost, and only to those deemed worthy, such as when Korangar, the God-Slayer promised his eternal soul to The Mountain of Living Winds after completing difficult trials.
This fusion of mortal soul and Worldsoul lifeforce grants incredible abilities and greatly increased power to the Enhanced individual, and usually does not extract a cost by itself, but access to Enhancement is typically locked behind a price of some kind. This is intended by the mages that have discovered methods of Enhancement, and desired by Andromeda, as Enhanced mortals are capable both of great good and extreme calamity.
