The Longunir - "The Three Spears"

The Longunir (from Longinus and Gungnir) are the smallest, but most important section of the Kanna Domar - "The Relic Seekers". The group consists of three individuals who all report directly to the current Regalius, in current times Bel Doneto. All of the Longunir are Emblem users, so are specifically designated as the fighters of the gang.   Due to the presence of the Istharian Guards, the gangs of Isthramir cannot wage wide scale conflicts between eachother without attracting the attention of a larger force of the guards that even the entire Kanna Domar couldn't overrun. Therfore, any disagreements turned conflict between the six gangs of Isthramir are settled with small scale, typically one on one, fights. Representing the Kanna Domar in these is the primary job of the Longunir.

Composition

Manpower

The Longunir is the smallest branch of the Kanna Domar, consisting of only 3 members. However, despite this, they undisputibly make up the bulk of power within the group.

Equipment

As Bel Doneto's most trusted agents, the Longunir are allowed access to the Kanna Domar's vaults and goods at will. There is therefore no specific equipment that any individual has, with each member choosing whatever they persoannly deem necessary for the task at hand.

Weaponry

Emblems: While not a weapon, it is a forgone conclusion and base necessity for any Longunir to have an Emblem. Due to the advantage having an Embelm gives a combatant, without one it would be unlikely - though not impossible - for an individual to become a Longunir. However, due to the difficulty and rarity of obtaining the Nexus Ore required to gain an Emblem, some members of The Longunir were gifted this material by the Regalius of the gang with the specific intent of them taking up the Longunir role, or as a reward for being made one.

Structure

The Longunir have no command structure within themselves, and outside of the Regalius are the highest levels of authority among the Kanna Domar. This is because they are all approximatly equal in ability, though it is likely all three would claim they individually were superior to the other two.   Collectivly, the Longunir watch over each branch (The Draunark and The Hyliosk) of the Kannar Domar, maintaining order within them, distributing tasks, and reporting about each section to the Regalius. While not being directly a part of any branch, the Longunir typically choose amongst themselves who will focus on each branch to reduce confusion, though they can and will swap depending on availability and needs.

Training

Member's of the Kanna Domar typically do not undergo specfic, organised combat training - though it isn't uncommon for individuals to train or practice with each other.   The Longunir however, while technically untrained, differ due to their specific role of combat and the experience gained from fighting. This role ensures they regularly deal with combat based scenarios, especially fighting the other Emblem users that are their equivilants in other gangs - with their own. As such, all are experienced Emblem users, with even new members quickly gaining a grasp of the basic techniques.   Several lower ranking members of the Kanna Domar discuss in hushed voices of the Longunir training with eachother, though it is commonly agreed to be more likely that these scenarios are the Longunir fighting with one another, as opposed to training, based on the three's reactions to the suggestion.

I'm interested in the relationship the three members of the Longunir have with one another. Your article seems to imply they are very competitive, and therefore, not always on the best of terms.

Thanks for commenting!   They're definitely competitive (the perils that come with having three ambitious people in an environment that rewards the best). I'd say that their "problems" with each other come down to the small details and pride. They're all self-assured that they're correct, so clash over the smaller parts of life they disagree on - for example, one takes pride in being well kept, refined and only dresses in intricate designer ware. One of the others last bathed 4 days ago, has owned 3 outfits over the last 5 years, and the closest they come to using cutlery is stabbing their food on a knife.   Though I may change the exact points they contrast on, this idea of opposing views on life is the main thing I'm envisioning
