Arcane Brotherhood

The Arcane Brotherhood is a wizards' guild that operates out of the Hosttower of the Arcane in Yerentil. Since its reformation, the organisation has been shrouded in mystery, as even its most high-ranking members other than Arklem Greeth and Valindra Shadowmantle are unknown. It is known however that their primary goal is the control of arcane knowledge throughout Terra Caelum. Arklem Greeth, the Archmage Arcane of the Brotherhood, first appeared in Yerentil around 8004. Meticulously building a group of powerful and evil mages, Greeth sought to acquire control of arcane knowledge by controlling the nearby libraries and academies, piecing through their archives to retrieve as much lore as he could.

Structure

The Archmage Arklem rules over the guild and under him serve four Overwizards. Each Overwizard is assigned a quadrant of Yerentil to administer and an arm of the Hosttower of the Arcane to coordinate. Below the Archmage was Overwizard Valindra Shadowmantle, who is responsible for the North Tower. Dominion of arcane lore is the main goal of the Brotherhood, so Valindra leads the Overwizards in their objective to collect information on their regions to help her. She is a moon elf, born in the Wild Woods. Frustrated with her wizardly education, she left her homeland and headed for the Free Peach looking for a mentor. One year later, she murdered him and escaped to Yerentil, where she found a place among the Brotherhood. Overwizard Rimardo Domine, responsible for the East Tower. Overwizard Arabeth Raurym, responsible for the South Tower. Overwizard Blaskar Lauthom, responsible for the West Tower.
