Personal history

Spitfire was born in Manehattan only a year before Flare and Soarin. Her parents Stormy Flare and Rapidburn were high school sweethearts, and for the first four or five years of young Spitfire's life, the family was doing well. Her parents loved each other, her dad's job paid well, and her mother stayed home to care for her.  Things changed when Spitfire's paternal uncle died. A stranger showed up at the door that neither mare knew, but Rapid did. He was Rapid's first cousin, and he sought out Rapid to fill in his older brother's shoes to run "the family" before it created a power vacuum. Eventually, Rapid gave in and left Stormy and Spitfire with the hopes that neither would have to deal with the crime family life.
