Auld Taige

Auld Taige is the capital of the Scietti Republic. Unlike many of the latter settlements built in human fashion (on the ground and/or out of reclaimed building material), Auld Taige is a true elven city, built into the heart of the Coyilla Forest. With a population of only around 50,000, Auld Taige still stands well above most Sciettish towns, and is a nexus for academic and diplomatic exchanges.
Containing the largest port west of the halien straights, Auld Taige also houses some of the most premier scholarly institutions, including the Msyran Priory. Due to Scietties relative neutrallity many civilizations have small embassies within the capital - although recent events have seen a rise in tension among foreign visitors.
