Navy Ranks in Maritime Navy
In the ancient time, most of the navy were auxiliary units. Any sea battle relied on armies onboard with hand-to-hand combats. The Maritime Kingdom, however, calimed to have the first true navy in which the main force was the warship itself. It was not a luck if they are considered the best of its kind. In order to organize such large navy, the rank system was reinvented.
Officers
Rank | Details |

High Admiral | The highest rank in the navy, who can command the multiple fleets, and sometimes the whole navy. They will be commanding the flagship name The Grand Immy. During wartime, the High Admirals will be responsible for the whole campaign the government delegated. During peacetime, they function like the Admiral. This rank can be only appointed by the predecessor High Admiral or the royals. The most notable holder was the Queen Imogen, the first High Admiral. |
Admiral | Command multiple ships/squadrons or a fleet. They hold the mandate operation such as Isle patrolling. |
Captain | Command one large warship such as Galleon. A multiple Captain can be under a fleet by the Admiral. |
Commander | Command small warship such as Galley. A multiple Commanders can be under a fleet by the Admiral, and sometimes they become the assistants of Captain. |
Vice Commander/Lieutenent | Those under the Commander/Captain, their duties are to communicate the sailors, do observation, and report the situations. Sailors have to serve at least five years to be promoted. |
Sailors
The main crew of all ships. Their duties are to maintain the warship, keep the supply, and operate the catapult or ballista. They can become the officers if they meet these requirements:
