Captain of The Iron Guard
The oldest son of Iron Guard Commander Therryn Herrold, Therryn Herrold II is one of five captains of the militia in Merciwyne. Born into the military life, Therryn has never known anything other than structure and rigidity, order, and a life dedicated to efficiency. Much like his father, his personality and attitude are serious, very businesslike. His interactions are very transactional, there is little variation in his day to day life for anything other than work and responsibility. Despite his otherwise stoic personality, Therryn has softened his steely exterior for a young lass named Therissa, whom he married seven years ago. They have a baby girl together named Hana, and another child on the way. Therryn, of course, is hoping he will be graced with a son. He plans to name him Therryn III, should he be so fortunate.Divine Domains
Much like his father, Therryn is a devout worshipper of the gods, specifically the Dwarven Lord of Battle, Thorgrük. He has given offerings and thanks to the heavens many times after a battle, and other times as a simple act of devotion.
Therryn has also found a certain peace and comfort with the night, and has collected his thoughts many a time under the glow of the moon. He has established a personal connection with Irise, the goddess of the moon, and found comfort in her presence when his mind has raced with troubled thoughts. He has a small crescent shaped tattoo to honor this belief just above his collarbone.
