Commander of The Iron Guard
The commander of the Merciwyne military, a career soldier. He served in The Void War, and now spends his days dealing with the city council of Merciwyne, as well as the captains of The Iron Guard. A quiet man in his own regard, Commander Herrold is a well respected and revered leader. His wife passed away from an aggressive sickness that ravaged the area 20 years ago, and he never had the heart to remarry; she was his one true love since before he enlisted in the military. They had one son together, Therryn Herrold II, currently serving as one of the captains of the guard in the Merciwyne militia.
