General Summary

29th of Julista

Dirt started his match with the The Superstar and surprisingly held his own. He seemed to pick up the exhibition nature of the contest, and leaned in- gaining the respect of his opponent. The two battled back and forth until the The Superstar finally gained the advantage. He signaled for the end of the match and went into his finisher routine. However, before hitting the final blow The Superstar's arch rival- Macho Dude Randy Savageorc struck him with a steel chair ending the match in a DQ. While Dirt did not win the match, he won over the crowd and the Pugnadomus. The Superstar, impressed, offered to teach Dirt a special technique he had learned wrestling abroad in the land of Jippon .
Balthazar waited at the Drachenpalace as Embry Reusswald had instructed assuming his mates would read the letter he had left (obviously, not a great idea). Sandro had been spending the day continuing to brood and grapple with his developing situation; but eventually met with Balthazar. In the palace Embry explained a important artifact had been stolen from the Princesses personal vault. This raised suspicion as only six people knew of its new location- the Privy Council, Embry and The Princess. Embry wanted to the party to investigate as not to alarm the suspects. They were sequestered in a long workshop with the Princess and the party would be unhindered in their investigation. The party spent the day interviewing the Curator at the House of Learning, the House Guard Captain, and the apartments of each privy member council. Their primary suspect turned out to be Nils Forthsymth, the minister of means and ways. They followed leads which took them to a loan shark at the local casino Tymora's Will. The full picture had been crafted: Nils had racked up alot of debt, cooked the books, but then recently was able to pay off said debt and seemingly fix the books. The party shared their evidence with Embry and laid a trap. They ambushed Nils in his room and attempted to rattle out a confession. When simple good cop-bad cop didn't work, and timely spell by Balthazar did and Nils was forced unwillingly to confess. A 3rd party through the Modicum hired him to obtain the artifact. He did and was paid handsomely for it. However, he had no clue who the 3rd was. Embry suggested the party head to Modicum and try to find out.
While Sandro stayed back at the palace (hiding in another council person's room) Balthazar headed back to their apartment. On the way he was contacted by Norah who urgently wanted to meet the party. At the apartment Balthazar meet two of Norah's compatriots- a talking book named Stanley and a living teddy bear named Poe . Norah said she had sent The Crestfallen Four off to the town of Tyburg. Apparently, Anja Lugerritz had been seen interacting with the Baron's of the town; the Messerkratzs. It had been a week since their last communication and she feared the worst. She asked the party to stop by Tyburg on their way to Lugencroft and investigate what happened to the other group. Balthazar agreed, and Norah and her friends left.
