Religions

In the world of Terranon, the gods are real, and they and their servants have walked among the mortal world. They imbue their clerics and paladins with power. There is no disputing or denying that the gods exist. Religion is an important part of many people’s lives, some dedicating their worship to a single god of their choice, some choosing to pray and make offerings to many of the gods depending on what is needed (a temple of Athesne for knowledge to pass an exam, Rhemnys for crafting an important item, or Loreali for healing an illness), and some do not offer worship to the gods at all. Each nation has its primary gods, with the largest temples built to them and their feast days the most celebrated, though one may worship outside of those. The exception being, beware of the open worship of gods considered banned within certain nations, as this can lead to anywhere from a slap on the wrist to imprionment or even death.
