Journey to University

After the team rented some horses from Rokian, they decided to go shop in order to prepare for the quest/journey ahead of them. Part way through the shopping, Asmodeus and Alara decided to go to the bar/turn in for the night so they left Mad, Doluvius, and Caelum to continue their shopping. Once those three completed their shopping, they weren't quite ready to turn in for the night.

So the team checked out the quest board in the town and found a recently posed note about a suspicious blood trail leading into the woods. They followed that trail into the woods and discovered a dead bear. The bear was being protected by the hunters that had killed it and were responding to another town member's request for meat. When the team approached the bear, the hunters attacked them and forced the 3 team members to fight for their lives. Once the team defearted the hunters, they butchered the bear into pieces they could carry back to town and retreive the reward on the flyer the hunters were trying to gather. After that, the team returned to the Inn and went to bed.
In the morning, the team regrouped and finished whatever tacking they had yet to complete for thier horses and set out for Krinora University. After travelling for a day through the farm fields. the team set up camp for the night and went to bed after establishing a sentry hound spell cast by Dol. In the middle of the night, the team was roused from their slumber by the sentry dog and Alara's bow of warning. They could hear large footsteps and all hid from the large creature that was forcing its way through the forrest and towards the group. Through the trees, the team was spotted by a Gigatic and a fight began. The team tried to teleport onto the creature multiple times but in the end, the creature was brought down by Mad climbing onto the creature's leg and the others casting magic or ranged attacks at it while avoiding being grabbed by its mandibles.
Once the beast finally fell, the team realized that Asmodeus had fled during the fight. At one point during the fight, Asmodeus had used magic to try and attack the beast and upon using it, he realized that Allyn was pleased by it and he fled in an attempt to distance himself from the team should he be corrupted. After realizing that he had disappeared, the team looked through the forrest to find him once again and helped everyone get settled into bed after collecting some trophies from the Gigatic. While asleep, Asmodeus had another dream/message from Allyn. (The Dream is explained in Allyn's Dreams).
After waking up, the team resumed their journey towards the University. As they approached the Univeristy, they saw multiple signs advertising that the school was closed for a "Harvest Festival." Upon finally arriving at the school, the team found the gates to be closed. The team opened the gates and proceeded inside but realized they did not know where they would be able to find Rokian's sister so they asked some students that they saw lingering outside of the buildings. While the students were very unpleasant for the team to deal with (snotty and just creepy lol) they were able to find out that Professor Thaddenbau was in her classroom and they figured out where that was as well.
Once the team arrived at the classroom, they could hear an argument or heated discussion taking place within the room but they could not hear the specifics of what was being said. As they tried to eavesdrop, they accidentally creaked the door alerting those inside to their presence and the conversation ended. The team approached the three teachers that were Dr. Strix, Professor Kova Roja, and Renestrae Thaddenbau. Once she learned that the group wanted to speak with her, Renestrae dismissed the other professors to leave her to her conversation with the group. Displaying some of the seemingly inherited attitude that both Thaddenbaus have thus shown the team, she was belligerent and unwilling to tell the group anything until she saw something that she could benefit from the trade.
The team and Renestrae ended up agreeing that she would spend the night researching Asmodeus' possession and the possible cure/correction for that if the team would allow her to eaxmine/study Queen Ayleth Dyana Osola's cloak and give up one magical item in the teams possession to her (she must deem the item of acceptable value).  In the meantime, she told the team they could spend some time at the Harvest Festival on campus and meet her again in the morning.  They did so and played numerous games at the festival to win some prizes.
At the festival, there was a tent for fortune telling.  Each team member visited the fortune teller and had their fortunes read by the gypsy (Kylynn) that was running the tent.  The team was allowed to either view a fortune about their past or their future (their choice) then they had to pull 3 tarot cards and would get the answer to their questions.  Each fotrune that was pulled was scarily accurate to each person's situation or past. Some people asked for further explanation but Kylyyn said if they wanted anything further, they would have to come back another day and she could see what sort of help she could provide at that time.
Once the team got their fill of the festival fun, they found an inn near the campus that they were able to stay at for the night.  The team went to sleep for the night and Asmodeus had another dream (detailed in same Allyn's Dreams)
