Harot
The Harot wander, it's what they know. They rarely tie themselves to anyone or anything; it's why I don't trust them.
The People
The Harot are vastly mistrusted as an ethnicity of Visctherian, with old grudges about their wandering ways skewing people's perspectives. In all reality, they are a very reliable people, knowing what it's like to be turned away or backstabbed. The Harot commonly make up community outreach programs in other countries that they call home, and the People of the Gentle Stars - an Arcanist faction in Croyla - have a suprisingly large Harot employee population.
Distinctive Anatomy
The Harot are easily identified as Celestials by their horns and colorful skin, but their pointed ears suggest a Urian lineage somewhere deep in their ancestry. Being theorized to be descended from Devils does not help their reputation.
Culture
The Harot, for all their wandering ways, like to live stylishly, and are often known for their lavish lifestyles when they do put down roots. Horn decorations and piercings are common, as well as other body modifications such as tattoos and piercings.
Ancestral Homeland
Originally from the deserts of Patan, the Harot were forced to move during the Shattering and subsequent Division of the World. Repeatedly turned away by the young countries that were just being set up, the Harot were made to wander the land for a long time.
Current Habitation
After wandering for almost a century, the Harot settled in the desert land of Hobrax on the Eastern Continent. Known for its casinos and places of pleasure, Hobrax is a tourist destination for every other Visctherian, but to the Harot, it is home.
Famous Harot
Priamos Erdrut was a Harot warlock in Ucla that was involved in the Echo. He was instrumental in the finding of Eva's Lyre, leading Sorin Nalviad around the capitol with confidence.
