Chosen of God

When a True God needs to interfere in the material world, instead of sending his avatar, he might imbue one of his important followers with divine powers. These beings are called Chosen. Weaker gods can have only one, while Greater Deities can have several. They are granted a variety of blessings, depending on their patron. In time, Chosen could become an Exarch or even a Demigod, depending on what their patron has in mind for them (or how powerful they are).
