The realm of the Source Being Cthulhu is filled with antediluvian ruins, filled with unspeakable horrors and monsters. Their goal is to see everything come to an end - life, existence, everything. The legends have it that the desert was empty, like the void itself, until the being known as Cthulhu was stopped by the First Gods and imprisoned here. The creature's nature twisted the emptiness, filling it with inconceivable terror. It is said that the creature's very essence, fueled by the Well of Entropy, created the Eternity Crack in The Cube, allowing creatures from outside the Cube to invade the planes and maybe even the Material Plane itself.
