The demigod of deceit might not bring you glory but the treasures that lie in the hands of fools shouldn't stay, thus Egil brings many worshippers who seek an easy booty and those that wish to learn from the silver-tongued individual.
History
Egil the Deceiver was once an advisor to a jarl in the
Third Age, Kingdoms. Through his silver tongue, he was able to make him go to war and succeed in many battles. Only to betray him in the last moment, when the jarl became too strong, taking his crown and artifacts for himself. Egil would garner a following, even if he wasn't a true warrior but a powerful warlock, who could swing his flaming weapon like no other. Many see through his deceits in the
Throne of Esageard but sometimes they get through, and the advices that do, bring glory to those that listen. He was able to garner one of the biggest followings in the
Fifth Age, Current Age by manipulating the local warrior-clans to his cause. Many speculate that he might become a
True God.
