The legends say that this plane was once known as the Rivers of Plenty, where resources were in abundance but the start of Blood War changed everything. Now, everything is gray, the rivers are full of ash, soot and lava, as the Greater Plane of Evil. These lands are mainly roamed by Fiends, who use it as the main staging area for the war. It is here where the Blood War started and Asmodian was born (depends on who you believe). Among the fiends, you can see it, the mighty Asmodian roaming the lands, who is only interested in strife and conflict but also in intrigue and backstabbery. There are many fortresses of evil in the lands, most of them in ruins. The Grey Wastes are also homeland of the Yugoloths. They didn't choose a side during the Blood War and are working as mercenaries. Many people tell stories that they were created by Asmodian himself to continue the conflict ad infinitum.
