Lutenyaar
Mainly a kingdom of the wood elves that stayed behind, after the great forest was decimated by the calamity and non-elves. They fought a bloody conflict to retake it and only centuries later are having doubts about their actions. The elves work carefully in the shadows, trying to rebuild their lost reputation.
History
Lutenyaar was lost to the hands of other races near the end of the Third Age, Kingdoms, as many of the elves emigrated south. The grand forest of the Grandeur Inland became not so grand during the Fourth Age, The Calamity. The elves of the forest were lost, at least to many on the outside as between the branches, the wood elves stayed behind to safeguard their forest. When the Post-Calamity Era of the Fifth Age, Current Age dawned, they saw it not as a disaster but as an opportunity. They forcefully took back their forest, killing many people in the process, whole duchies were pacified, deserted, or completely wiped off by the elves. When their brothers and sisters came from the Elven Lands, both sides weren't happy. The wood elves of the forest called them traitors to Lutenyaar and cowards, for leaving the ancient forest to man. While the elves of the Elven Lands called them barbaric and murderers, slaughtering non-elves and making a divide between the races when there was none. Nearly a hundred years passed since that moment and the wood elves kept their borders strong, smaller duchies and raiding parties tried to loot the elves but with no luck. The elves themselves didn't gain much positive reaction and after hearing that the Gold Dragons of Albersberg, only then the wood elves saw what they have become. Not wanting to admit to their guilt, they decided to work in the shadows, helping the locals against the many monsters the woods might bring to their lands.
