Monterenzio

The shores of Monterenzio were the few that survived the Fourth Age, The Calamity. Once they belonged to the Divine Empire as the Duchy of Monteren, it became an independent country after the fall of the empire. However, tough times called for thought measures as the people of Monterenzio weren't capable of surviving the Post-Calamity Era of the Fifth Age, Current Age. Thus many of them turned into Ghols but in a stroke of luck, most of them still wanted to be a part of Monterenzio and be independent. This couldn't last as the Divine Monarchia grew stronger. The king of Monterenzio, a mortal, knew that his country would fall into the hands of Monarchia decided to pledge loyalty to Lepidia. This fealty allowed them to be safe for a long time but sooner or later, Divine Monarchia will want the duchy back.
